Cascade Valley Metro Park

This 526-acre park includes more than 7 miles of hiking trails in central Summit County. The Chuckery Area contains several unique features, including a prairie and a meadow, each with unusual or rare plants. Schumacher Valley remains one of the most rugged areas within Akron and the Overlook Trail offers spectacular views of the Cuyahoga River Valley. The Oxbow Area offers a variety of play fields, available to visitors on a first-come, first-served basis.
