There's a New Map in Town!

Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail Mileage Marker Map!

Find your way along the more than 81 miles of completed Towpath Trail. Using this handy new map you can locate:

• Trailheads, Parking, & Main Road Cross Streets
  
• Mileage between Trailheads
• Restrooms
• CVSR Bike Aboard! Stations
• Breaks in the Trail
• Bridle Trails

The map itself arose out of a “Safe is Sound” campaign led by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park with support from Cleveland Metroparks, Metro Parks, Serving Summit County and Stark Parks as well as CVNPA. Tuscarawas County Park Department and Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad joined in on the creation of the map itself.

If you’re on the Towpath this summer, you may see a “Safety Stop” tent, where bicyclists can pick up handlebar bells - because Safe is Sound - and everyone can find a list of the safety rules for the shared-use trail along with the new map.
