The Sanders Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is located on the west side of Sippo Lake in Perry Township. Sanders Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is the only licensed wildlife rehabilitation center in Stark county. Both trained staff and volunteer veterinarians care for over 1,900 injured and orphaned native animals each year with the goal of releasing those animals, in fit condition, back to their natural environment. While the building is no longer open for visitation, the park grounds and trails are open from dawn til dusk.
